Dark Souls Why is Pinwheel So Easy
pinwheel is the hardest boss in the game, why do you cheat or hack the game to pretend to be good?
He's supposed to be one of the first bosses you'd go for. Down there with Moonlight Butterfly, Taurus Demon, etc.
No, he´s the hardest boss in dark souls. :)
If you think pinwheel is easy you may as well quit, because the rest of the game is way more easier that that. You are a god!

Check the lore if you are interested on "why, where or how"?
he hits hard when you're a low level, but he's got basically no health. If you go after him before you grab the lordvessel then yeah, you're gonna have a good time. Before then, you'll probably still have a good time. There's a reason he only drops 15k souls.
Pinwheel doesn't become a threat until high SL1, but even then he is easier than most Bosses.

Though most peeps visit the Catacombs rather late in the game due to the initial shock they'd received from being 1 shotted by the skeletons in the graveyard when they'd just arrived at the Firelink Shrine for the very first time (and that Catacombs connects to the TotG which is a late game region), but Pinwheel is actually a boss designed to pose a challenge to early game players who are into the game as early as post-Gargoyles (or post-Capra) or even earlier for advanced players, rather than being a threat to the late game toons.
That's why most people's first impression on the boss is that he's way too easy and dies in 3 hits by the time they got to face him, which is generally SL 50s, 60s or beyond.

I've seen an "overpowered before gargoyles" sort of vid where some guy just utterly rekt pinwheel naked with a gravelord sword at low level.
Who really knows why Pinwheel is so easy, but he's definitely one of the easiest bosses in the game.

Pinwheel is actually really hard if you don't cut him down immediately within the first 10 seconds or so of the boss fight. It's not that he is so easy anybody can just deal with him however as they please, it's kinda the case of that you have to kill him before he does anything while taking advantage of his small HP pool.
Though people generally just rush in and hack on the bosses without a second thought (just like what most peeps do with most bossess when they see them for the first time, the only difference is that Pinwheel actually dies from it), but the real reason why it's recommended to end him as soon as possible is that he can be very hard to deal with if you drag the fight just a little longer than a couple of seonds in.
Not to mention he is also meant to be taken on in very early stages of the game instead of when most peeps meet him, which is generally after acquiring the Lordvessel.
Hence strictly speaking he is in a strange position where he is hard, but he is also not.

The Four Kings follow the same time-rush principle except they're an actual challenge even in a 1 on 1.
I doubt he's meant as an early boss, considering the path to him is full of enemies that would just absolutely shred new players (skeleton wheels lol). I tried going that way once when I first got the game, got wrecked by the basic skeletons in the cemetary and decided never again.

The best time to go through to pinwheel I find is pretty much after you've gotten Reah's followers to leave off to the spooki spooki giant tombs, since this enables you to save her, and reduces the amount of times you have to run right through the catacombs. Ofcourse you could always wait until you have the lordvessel, but then pinwheel is just hit 3 times and dead.
Pinwheel is supposed to be a friendly vendor who sells unlimited Divine Blessings, Humanity and tridents. Why had you attacked him?
